What demo players actually complained about
- ❌ Demo players repeatedly flagged the tutorial: the tent quest, crafting water and the campfire recipe step all produced 'I quit' threads
- ❌ Stamina drain in combat was a recurring complaint even from players who finished the demo
- ❌ A reviewer with a sponsored video still listed the UI as convoluted and dialogue text as appearing all at once
- ❌ Equipment does not change your character's appearance, which a developer explained as an animation-budget limit
Why there is no score here
Dimraeth has not been released. There is no Metacritic entry, no OpenCritic page and no Steam review score, because none of those exist for an unreleased game. We also have no way to play a build ourselves, so scoring it would mean inventing a number. What to watch on launch day
The demo criticism was concentrated in onboarding and stamina, not in the systems underneath — see the getting started guide for the three specific walls. Mudtek says the QoL items are already reworked and Early Access ships with difficulty modes. Whether that lands is the thing worth checking against the first wave of Steam reviews rather than against any preview.
