Magician
Weaves elemental spells into weapon strikes and swaps damage type to match the enemy.
The official class blurb describes a hybrid: summon fire, ice or lightning, adapt tactics to exploit enemy weaknesses, and strike with both arcane power and martial precision. Magician was one of the two starting classes in the demo.

Brawler
Close-range specialist built on grapples, fast strikes and stamina management.
Lightly armoured and agile, the Brawler combines weapon strikes with feral instinctive techniques and relies on relentless stamina and unpredictable movement. A demo player finished the final boss at 'deed level 6' as a level 22 Human Brawler.

Shadow
Announced on 2 September 2026 as the new class shipping with Early Access.
Listed in the Early Access content update as 'New Class: The shadow'. No kit details, spell list or skill tree has been published yet, so anything about its playstyle is guesswork until launch day.

The other three
We are not going to invent them. Mudtek has published three class names in three years of devlogs, forum replies and announcements, and the 2 September content list named exactly one new class. If you see a site listing six class names for Dimraeth today, ask where the other three came from. This page will be updated on launch day from the character creation screen.
Where your spells come from
This is the part that makes class choice matter beyond the starting kit. A developer laid out three separate buckets:
- Race and class spells. Unlocked from the skill tree and customised with modifiers. Locked to the race or class you picked, and race spells get their own animations.
- Universal attribute spells. Bought as spellbooks from shops. Any race and class can use them provided you meet the spell's attribute threshold - which is why your race and class matter twice, once for the kit and once for the attribute scaling cost.
- Boss spells. Crafted from boss spellbooks.
The consequence is that your class is a spending plan as much as a kit. Mudtek's own worked example, from the spell devlog: pick a fairy magician and "you probably won't be getting spells that require a lot of physique". Browse the 46 documented spells to see which schools sit behind which tags.
Confirmed pairings you can actually build today
With 3 confirmed races and 3 named classes, the combinations you can plan around at launch are these:
| Race | Magician | Brawler | Shadow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Human | Demo-tested | Demo-tested | From 15 Sep 2026 |
| Minotaur | Demo-tested | Demo-tested | From 15 Sep 2026 |
| Elf | From 15 Sep 2026 | From 15 Sep 2026 | From 15 Sep 2026 |
Skill trees are being rebuilt
One caveat before you plan around demo footage: the Early Access list includes a "skill tree overhaul", and a developer had already said skill trees "will be expanded post demo". Trees you see in demo videos are not the trees you will get on 15 September.
FAQ
What classes are in Dimraeth?
Six are advertised. Three are named on the record: Brawler and Magician were the demo starting classes, and Shadow was announced on 2 September 2026 as the new Early Access class. Mudtek has not named the remaining three anywhere public.
How do race and class work together in Dimraeth?
Any of 8 races pairs with any of 6 classes for 48 Archetypes, and each pairing has its own skill tree and playstyle. The pairing also sets your attribute scaling cost, which decides which universal spellbooks you can afford to unlock.
How many spells can you equip in Dimraeth?
Five at a time. They come from three sources: race and class spells from the skill tree, universal attribute spells bought as spellbooks from shops, and boss spells crafted from boss spellbooks.
Is there a healer or support class in Dimraeth?
No class is described as a dedicated healer. Support exists at the spell level instead: Combat Medic is the one Heal-school spell documented, and Nature spells like Power Of The Wild buff armour and resistance for an ally. A player asked for a support class on the forum and got no commitment.
